The day is written by and led by Josie, SMNET's Co-Founder and Director. You will meet current students/midwives who will be coming along to support, guide and answer any questions you may have.
The day is designed to support you in submitting your best personal statement, to get to grips with the application process and covers;

- Personal Statement Question & Answer session - ask us anything!
- Understanding the application process including submission to UCAS
- Understanding the role of the midwife, student midwife and responsibilities under the Nursing & Midwifery Council
- What you can be doing to improve your chance of being selected for interview
All those attending will receive a 30 day free trial of 'Skills for Midwifery Practice' Johnson and Taylor (Evolve Edition, 2010) and a copy of the fantastic midwifery journal Essentially MIDIRS.
