    We can't write your personal statement for you, or guarantee you a place or a job but we will help you present the best application and interview that you can, to give you the professional edge to get ahead of the competition.

Personal Statement Creation & Review

An SMNET Consultant will work with you to help you create your perfect personal statement. To apply for a midwifery degree you need to write a excellent personal statement. When you qualify as a midwife and apply for your first job you need to write an excellent supporting statement. UCAS rightly use plaigiarim software to detect those who have 'borrowed' from other people's Personal Statements. It is wise to ensure you receive professional support when creating your PS to ensure you are not subject to UCAS plaigiarism investigations. We do not use standard phrases, sentances or any other pre-written material as we do not write your Personal Statement for you.  Instead, we provide you with something much more worthwhile, we give you the support, guidance, knowledge, confidence and skills to create your own.

The Personal / Supporting Statement 'Nip & Tuck'

If you have already constructed your personal or supporting statement and feel it just needs a ‘nip and tuck’ we can provide unlimited reviews and turn a first draft around within 36 hours. Please note your statement must be less than 5,000 characters for a 'nip and tuck' review. We offer this service at £27.99.

The Personal / Supporting Statement 'Premium Pack'

Case Review: We catch up with where you are with applying or qualifying. We discuss previous applications and interviews or if this is your first time of applying we discuss your background and motivation for studying midwifery. If you are about to qualify we talk about your training and key areas.

Content Management: Guidance with collating base information to create the foundations of an excellent PS. We will discuss your background with you and highlight examples of any transferable skills and experience that we feel can enhance your PS.

Education Support: Supporting links and educational references that we feel could fill in any gaps in your knowledge, or further enhance existing knowledge.   

Structure Management: Support with structuring and styling your PS.

Unlimited Review Support: We offer comment, suggestions, feedback and proof reading until your perfect PS is created.

You will receive 1-2-1 support via email, and confidentiality is assured. It is important to state that we do not write your statement for you, but we offer guidance, advice and intense support. We offer the entire PS/SS support package at £39.99.

Application Support

We offer an application telephone service which is 1-2-1 with a CIPD qualified HR consultant.  You recieve targeted application support, advice and guidance and can ask us anything! Our consultants are all CIPD qualified.  This service is charged at £29.99 per hour or £19.99 per half hour.

Interview Skills Support

We offer an interview skills telephone service which is 1-2-1 with a CIPD qualified HR consultant.  You recieve targeted interview preparation skills, support and guidance and can ask us anything! Our consultants are all CIPD qualified and are trainers on the SMNET Preparing for Interview course. This service is charged at £29.99 per hour or £19.99 per half hour.

Managing Difficult Situations

We can provide email or telephone advice on all matters relating to supervision, statement writing, hearings etc. This service is charged on a per case basis.

All of our work is 100% confidential. Under the CIPD rules for members we cannot breach our clients’ confidentiality.

All payments for our consultancy services are to be made in advance via PayPal, credit or debit card.
